Majestically crowned faux taxidermy deer head wall mount. This beautiful deer head wall art will add a touch of whimsy to any room in the home! This piece was painted as follows: Deer head and antlers are black with dark copper accenting on them. The deers head has additional accenting in antique white, the eyes are black. This is a custom piece and will be made upon ordering, as the one shown in the listing images has already been sold. Your piece will very closely resemble the one shown in the listing images, but please note, all my work is handpainted, so no two pieces will ever look exactly the same, which is the charm of ordering custom, handmade art :) I can also send you an approval photo before shipping. A beautiful star tiara/crown in antique gold rests atop the head of the deer, it's removable so you may choose when to use it. This tiara/ crown is new but appears vintage with its rusty antique finish, gilded in gold and accented with distressed rhinestones. It is a reproduction of an antique 1800's French Santos crown and has one large star in front with 3 more stars on either side. The crown is antiqued and distressed in a shabby chic design. It is constructed of metal and has been oxidized for a rusty, vintage appearance. It features uneven stones (their position, angle, size, and/or shimmer) are an intentional part of the antiquing and 'shabby' process.
The deer head and antlers are made of cold cast resin. The entire piece measures 23" tall X 16" wide X 13" deep
Some beautiful ways to change up the look of this piece are to add a bow around the neck for various holidays, or hang a wreath around it, boxwood is my favorite!
The antlers are removable and will be shipped unattached in order to save space and shipping costs. Simply glue in place with an industrial type adhesive such as E6000 which is available at WalMart, Home Depot, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc.
