A stunning metal tiara/crown with delicate leaves rests atop the head of the deer, it's removable so you may choose when to use it. The crown has been painted gold and then accented with antique bronze, which brings out the beautiful details in the piece. The crown measures approximately 6 inches across x 4.5 inches tall.
The deer head and antlers are made of cold cast resin. The entire piece measures 23" tall x 16" wide x 13" deep and weighs approx. 6 lbs. There's a built-in keyhole on the back for easy hanging. The antlers are removable and will be shipped unattached, in order to save space and shipping costs. Simply glue in place with an industrial type adhesive such as E6000 which is available at WalMart, Home Depot, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc.
Some beautiful ways to change up the look of this piece are to add a bow around the neck for various holidays, or hang a wreath around it, boxwood is my favorite! If interested in having this piece take up more space on a wall then consider hanging it inside an empty frame.
